Joe Paxson

Co-founder of Eastern Iowa Claims, Joe specializes in large property losses, business income, liability claims and property appraisals. He holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Northern Iowa and is a veteran of the Marine Corps.

Jim Scheppele

Jim is a co-founder of Eastern Iowa Claims and is part of our management staff. He has a Bachelor Degree from Minot State College and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Gale Dana

Gale has been employed by Eastern Iowa Claims since its inception as a multi-line adjuster. He specializes in auto, agricultural equipment, heavy truck and equipment claims. He has an Associate Degree from Hawkeye Community College in auto body repair.

Phil Paxson

Phil joined Eastern Iowa Claims in 2001. He is experienced in all lines, but considers large property losses and liability claims his specialty. He is a University of Northern Iowa graduate and a Gulf War Veteran with the Marine Corps.

Alex Paxson

Alex joined Eastern Iowa Claims in 2024 after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. He's experienced in all types of property claims.
